The “A Chance to Recover” project was created to bring together women from military families, support them and help them through the hardships of waiting for husbands, sons and brothers to come home from the war.
580 women took part. The project included:
- beauty days to restore energy and self-worth;
- Easter bread baking workshops;
- flower therapy sessions;
- 5 retreats in the Carpathian Mountains;
- 3 trips abroad for a psychological reset;
- stone therapy classes;
- “vision board” practices to rediscover inner direction.
We handed out 1,500 tulips and supported 165 wives and mothers of fallen heroes. Total project budget: UAH 2 million.
